Draft beers from the taps were in plastic cups that night. No permanent damage, however. I did survive.

Excellent Mofro show! We were lucky to be there.
Overall, this was an outstanding show! The Rhythm Room is an intimate venue and a great place to interact with the band (as noted by previous reviewers here...BTW, I have no idea what that guy's talking about re: beer in plastic cups; I drank bottled beer all night)
Small but enthusiastic crowd as evidenced by their sing-along at the start of "Lochloosa".
Danny Owen: We get it that you have a band policy, but are you really that worried about this one SBD show from 2007? No worries, Danny...I already forked over cash for every Mofro studio release, and I catch their shows whenever they're in town. When I play this show for friends who don't know Mofro, they get hooked, then they go to the shows, they buy the tunes, and so it goes. It's cool that you're committed to your band and all, but don't sweat this one, okay?

What beer where you getting in plastic cups? I was getting mine in bottles... This show was incredible. Three encores... they leave the second encore only to have the crowd chant Mofro til they came back to bust out Florida and kick it with everyone afterwards. Amazing considering they had to drive 6+ hours that night to Hollywood, do a radio show at 11am and perform another set that night. And the Phoenix set didn't end until around midnight, not counting them hanging out afterwards... You couldn't ask for more from anyone else. Thanks guys, can't wait until next one...
